Amazon: launch of the Fire TV Stick 4K in France, Italy and Spain and distribution of Eurosport

Amazon has launched the Fire TV Stick 4K (USB stick that plugs into the HDMI port of a television to access an interface developed by Amazon) in France, Italy and Spain, announced the e-commerce group on 04/09/2019.

The American audiovisual group Discovery has also concluded an agreement with Amazon (on 05/09/2019) to distribute its OTT platform Eurosport Player via the Fire TV interface, which provides access to various applications such as Prime Video (Amazon's VoD platform), Netflix, Spotify and YouTube.

The Fire TV Stick 4K has been available in the United States, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom since the end of 2018.
