FIFA: "Data Protection Summit" at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich (SUI) on 02/10/2019

"The FIFA Data Protection Summit will take place at the Home of FIFA in Zurich (SUI) on 02/10/2019 and will gather speakers from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), confederations, member associations, clubs and other football stakeholders," announced the International Federation on 04/09/2019.

"FIFA now wishes to share its experience in implementing data protection measures with all football stakeholders. In this context, FIFA is organising a Data Protection Summit as a platform for all member associations, confederations, clubs and players' unions to present their solutions to comply with data protection regulations and share their experiences," added the body. The event will feature experts, lawyers, legal specialists and other data protection and compliance specialists from FIFA, the IOC, UEFA, the DFB, Première Ligue, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais (programme available to download).

"Attendees will present their projects, learn from each other, and set a basis for future collaboration and alignment in data protection," said FIFA.
