ECA: Italian Andrea Agnelli (Juventus FC) re-elected chairman for 2019-2023

Andrea Agnelli (ITA), president of Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), has been re-elected chairman of the ECA for the 2019-2023 period by the new executive board after the 23^rd General Assembly of the association of football clubs organized in Geneva (SUI) on 10/09/2019.

The ECA has a new executive board for the 2019-2023 cycle. As a result of the changes to the governance structure, the board has increased from 15 to 24 full members, with increased representation across the four subdivisions (see composition below).

This change had been adopted at the Special Assembly of the body in Malta, on 06 and 07/06/2019 "to ensure that the organisation continues to properly represent clubs of all sizes across its membership in an efficient and effective manner," said the ECA on 10/09/2019.

The executive board, which re-elected Andrea Agnelli as chairman, also unanimously re-elected Pedro López Jiménez (Real Madrid CF), Edwin Van der Sar (AFC Ajax), Dariusz Mioduski (Legia Warszawa SA) and Aki Riihilahti (HJK Helsinki) as vice-chairmen, each representing one of the four subdivisions of the…
