Africa: Swiss firm PwC retained to conduct a general audit of the CAF by end of November 2019

"The Swiss firm PwC has been selected, after evaluation of the offers received, to carry out a general audit of the CAF. The firm will have to submit its conclusions and recommendations no later than the end of November 2019," announced the Confederation of African Football on 10/09/2019.

Following the proposal of the CAF published on 30/07/2019 "for a general audit and an overview of the CAF, including a fiduciary audit", the body received seven offers (see list below).

The conclusions and recommendations of PwC "will serve as an anchor for the roadmap for the implementation of the extensive reform programme of the CAF supported by the working group which held its first meeting on 10/09/2019 (read below) with CAF and FIFA-mandated persons at the headquarters of the African Confederation in Cairo (EGY)," stated the CAF.
