Premier League: Liverpool FC to launch LFCTV GO, new on-demand video service

Liverpool FC (Premier League) launched LFCTV GO, a new version of LFC TV Online, its on-demand video service for mobile devices (computers, tablets and mobile), on 06/03/2014. The goal for Liverpool is to monetise its presence in digital media and its huge worldwide fan base.

For £44.99 per year (€54.30), or £4.99 per month (about €6), subscribers have access to LFCTV GO with match highlights, match reports and exclusive interviews from first team, U21 and U18, and Women's fixtures, as well as live streaming of the TV channel of the club, LFC TV.

Liverpool FC have 23 million users on social networks worldwide, announced the club 11/01/2014. "One of the main objectives of the club is to maximise the commitment of our millions of fans around the world through our various media, so that they feel part of the Liverpool FC family," said Matthew Baxter, media manager of the club on the 13/01/2014.
