Aldo Rebelo, Brazilian Sports Minister was present at the inauguration. The 7,000 workers who worked on the construction site were invited to attend the match.

Less than 100 days from the opening match of the competition between Brazil and Croatia in Sao Paulo, on 12/06/2014 (22H CET), nine out of twelve stadiums are ready, but three are still a problem: the stadiums Sao Paulo, Cuiaba and Curitiba will not be delivered until at least April.
