Brazil 2014: 345,000 tickets on sale on a first-come first-served basis

345,000 tickets are up for sale on a first-come first-served basis on 12/03/2014 at noon CET (Central European Time) on FIFA's website. This sale is the second period of the second sales phase which began on 08/12/2013.

Tickets for 60 of the 64 matches of the 2014 World Cup are offered to the general public. The opening match in Sao Paolo (Brazil-Croatia, on 12/06/2014), the two semi-finals (Belo Horizonte, on 08/07/2014, Sao Paolo on the 09/07/2014) and the final at the Maracana (Rio de Janeiro, on 07/13/2014) are not available.

A third and final phase of sales ("last minute" sales) will be held from 15/04/2014 to 13/06/2014.

  • FIFA had initially announced that 160,000 tickets will go on sale during this phase.
    • The 185 000 additional tickets are due to tickets returned by sponsors and the hospitality programme as well as unpaid tickets from the previous sales phase.
  • 473,000 tickets were allocated at the end of the first period of the second phase of sales, which ended on 30/01/2014.
