Bundesliga: a record turnover of €201.4m (+43%) for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018-19

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) posted a record turnover of €201.4m during the 2018-19 financial year (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), up 43% compared to 2017-18 (€140.8m), according to the German club on 05/09/2019.

"As was cautiously hinted at the end of last season, Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG achieved revenues of more than €200m for the first time, far exceeding the previous year's forecasts of around €150m. The exact revenues of €201.4m are remarkable compared to €140.8m in 2017-18, and are almost double the figures from 2016-17 (€110.7m) and 2015-16 (€109.3m)," said the German club.

Reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League brought in €44m for the club, which had only predicted €15m in revenue, only taking its presence in the group stage into account. This performance on a European scale, combined with a four place increase in the Bundesliga's TV rights rankings (9^th, 13^th in 2017-18), enabled Eintracht to post audiovisual revenues of €91.3m (compared to €54m in 2017-18).
