The telephone operator, Mobilis, an Algerian Telecom subsidiary, became the title sponsor of the Algerian Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 competitions, announced the Algerian LFP (Professional Football League) on 06/03/2014. The three-year contract will expire at the end of the 2016-17 championship.

The professional leagues will be renamed the Mobilis Ligue 1 and the Mobilis Ligue 2. "After the sponsorship contract for the Algerian Supercup for three years, and the Ligues by Mobilis, we will continue their sponsoring partnership of the professional championship. It is the objective of the FAF (Algerian Football Federation) to allow clubs to receive financial aid through the assistance of the league," said Mahfoud Kerbadj, chairman of the LFP Algeria.

"This sponsorship deal is good for the principle sport of Algeria and reflects the commitment of business to contribute to the national development of the discipline. The money from this three-year contract will be fully distributed to clubs to help them develop," said Mohamed Raouraoua, chairman of the FAF.
