NFL: Facebook extends agreement to broadcast summaries and highlights of games

Facebook and the NFL have extended, under a new multi-year agreement, broadcasting on the social network of summaries and highlights of games throughout the American football season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl, on 12/09/2019.

The NFL will continue to produce NFL Game Recaps as well as highlights from the 256 regular season games, playoffs and Super Bowl, for Facebook users around the world on Watch, Facebook's video platform. Facebook and the NFL first signed a multi-year agreement on 26/09/2017.

"In addition to game recaps, the NFL will also utilize Facebook Watch for distribution of an array of unique content including:
• Video clips featuring NFL Media analysts, reporters and on-air personalities from NFL Network signature studio shows;
• Weekly video versions of popular NFL Media podcasts including "Around the NFL";
• Archived content from the NFL Films vault featured across NFL Throwback;
• A series of NFL 100 content that celebrates the best teams, players and moments of the league's first 100 seasons," said the NFL on 12/09/2019.
