Sheffield United: Saudi Prince Abdullah wins court battle vs K. McCabe for 100% control of the club

The High Court of Justice, Business and Property Courts of England and Wales, has ordered Sheffield United FC (Premier League) 50% co-owner Kevin McCabe (ENG), in charge of Sheffield United Limited (SUL), to sell its shares in Blades Leisure Limited, the parent company of the club, to UTB LLC, a company owned by fellow Sheffield United 50% co-owner Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Mosa'ad bin Abdulaziz Al Sa'ud, according to the club on 16/09/2019.

"The McCabe Family has been deeply involved with the Blades since the 1990s, during which time it has invested more than £100m directly into the Football Club and in acquiring, developing, extending or improving the facilities utilised by SUFC at or around the iconic Bramall Lane Stadium, Shirecliffe Academy and the Junior Development Centre at Crookes," said Sheffield United FC on 08/09/2017.
