2019-20 LaLiga Santander: attendance for Matchday 4 (30,804 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 4 of the 2019-20 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 30,804 spectators per game, from Friday 13 to Sunday 15/09/2019. The average fill rate was 77%.

FC Barcelona - Valencia CF (5-2), on Saturday 14/09/2019 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance of the matchday with 81,617 spectators at the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity, a fill rate of 82%). This is the best attendance among the European Top 5 since the beginning of the 2019-20 season. In total, three games drew more than 45,000 spectators, while two others drew less than 10,000.

Three LaLiga Santander clubs played at home for the first time this season: Real Sociedad, Real Valladolid and SD Eibar. This situation is explained by the completion of renovation works on their respective stadiums: the Reale Seguras Stadium (capacity increased to 40,000), the Estadio José Zorrilla (28,106 capacity) and the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa (8,050 capacity).

The average attendance of the Spanish league reached 29,370 spectators per game after four matchdays, for an average fill rate of 76%.
