Real Madrid CF: socios approve a 2019-20 record budget of €822.1m (+8.6%)

The socios of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) have approved a projected budget of €822.1m (excluding proceeds from player transfers) for the 2019-20 season, the highest in the history of the club, at their general assembly on 15/09/2019.

This figure is up 8.6% compared to fiscal year 2018-19, during which Real Madrid recorded revenue of €757.3m and whose accounts were also approved by the socios. The club, which published its 2018-19 financial report (to download), also budgets for an EBITDA of €217.5m (compared to €176.3m in 2018-19) and a net profit of €41.3m (compared to €53.5m in 2018-19).

"The increase in the budget forecast for 2019-20 is mainly related to the increase in sponsorship and marketing revenue (from €295.6m to €371.2m). We also plan for, in the budget, qualification to the quarter-finals of the Champions League," explained the Madrid club.
