UEFA: European cup Finals on the agenda of the Executive Committee in Ljubljana (SVN) on 24/09/2019

The appointment of the hosts of the 2021, 2022 and 2023 UEFA Champions League Finals and the 2021 Europa League Final is on the agenda of the UEFA Executive Committee, which will hold a meeting at the InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on Tuesday 24/09/2019 from 13:30 to 17:00 CET, announced UEFA on 17/09/2019.

The 2021 Champions League final should be formalised to take place at the Saint Petersburg Stadium (Gazprom Arena) in Russia - for these events UEFA does not use the sponsored stadium names - the 2022 UEFA Champions League final at the Munich Arena in Germany (Allianz Arena), and the 2023 edition at Wembley Stadium, London (ENG), according to Associated Press.

The hosts of the 2021 UEFA Super Cup, the 2022 UEFA Futsal Championship, and the 2021 and 2022 UEFA European Under-21 Championships will also be decided in Ljubljana.

The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by the Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin, will also discuss the draw procedure for the play-off matches and final tournament of Euro 2020.
