The German club has an average home attendance of 75,000 spectators (a 100% fill rate) after four Bundesliga matchdays, while the Serbian club has an average of 5,198 spectators at the Stadion Rajko Mitić/Marakana (51,755 capacity) after four Serbian SuperLiga matchdays (fill rate: 10%).

FC Bayern Munich spent €352m composing its 2019-20 squad, according to a study by the CIES Football Observatory published on 09/09/2019. The German squad was valued at €780.66m by the website Transfermarkt on 18/09/2019. Meanwhile, Red Star's squad has been valued at €52.16m.
