Olympique Lyonnais: Deliveroo major partner of the men's and women's teams (2019-2022)

Deliveroo, a UK-headquartered meal home delivery company, has become a partner of Olympique Lyonnais for three seasons (2019-2022), announced the club on 20/09/2019. The agreement concerns OL's men's (Ligue 1 Conforama) and women's (D1 Arkema) teams.

Deliveroo will be a major partner of the Lyonnais club (second level), with displays as a sleeve sponsor of the OL women's team and back of the shirt sponsor of the men's team, a new sponsoring space authorized by the LFP since 2019-20.

"This is a partnership in the broadest sense of the term: kit visibility, stadium, edge field signage, ticketing, activation plans on social networks... Also, Deliveroo will accompany us to optimize our delivery system to the Groupama Stadium (57,206 capacity). As part of this partnership, Deliveroo will offer promotions to Lyonnais restaurants," stated Cyrille Groll, director of commercial development of Olympique Lyonnais, to News Tank Football on 20/09/2019. The agreement was negotiated by Lagardère Sports & Entertainment, the exclusive marketing agency of the Lyonnais club.
