Montpellier HSC: club to plant five trees for each goal scored during the 2019-20 season

Forward Andy Delort and defender Arnaud Souquet, two French professional players who scored in a league match for Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (Ligue 1 Conforama) in August 2019, participated in the planting of 10 trees at Grammont, the club's training centre, on 17/09/2019.

During the 2019-20 season, Montpellier HSC has pledged to plant five trees per Ligue 1 Conforama goal through its Espoir Orange et Rêve Bleu foundation. The location of the tree planting will change each month.

"The project has been close to my heart for a while. We often talk about bonuses, now we will also talk about 'green bonuses' and I hope there will be a lot to give. Contributing to this cause at our level will already be a great pride and if we can inspire other initiatives the success will be even more beautiful," said Laurent Nicollin, president of Montpellier HSC.
