EBU: Emmanuel Frantz becomes chief financial and administrative officer, as of 01/08/2014

Emmanuel Frantz was appointed chief financial and administrative officer of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) on 13/03/2014. He will join the team of the EBU on 01/06/2014 and will take up his new duties on 01/08/2014, after a transition period with the current director of administration and finance, Wallace Macmillan, who will leave the EBU on 31/07/2014.

Emmanuel Frantz arrives at the EBU after serving for six years as vice-president of financial operations at Yahoo EMEA (Europe - Middle East - Africa), where he was the head of operational and structural programme improvements.

“I’m thrilled to join the EBU’s management team at a decisive time for media organisations in Europe and beyond. I believe firmly in the importance of public service broadcasting. Now I can make a direct contribution to its future success," said Emmanuel Frantz on 13/03/2014.
