Adidas celebrates Lionel Messi's scoring record with a limited edition of 370 boots

The German sportswear company, Adidas, launched a limited edition of the adizero F50 Messi 369 boot, with only 370 being created, on 18/03/2014. This boot celebrates the club record beaten by Lionel Messi (ARG) during the match against Osasuna (7-0) in which he scored a hat-trick, making him the top scorer in the history of FC Barcelona (official and friendly matches included) with 371 goals, on 16/03/2014.

Previously, Paulino Alcántara (ESP) was the top scorer in the club's history (official and friendly matches included) with 369 goals between 1918 and 1927.

The F50 Messi 369 is a special edition of the F50 adizero boot, the model usually worn by Lionel Messi with a special design that pictoralizes Messi's performance: the colour on the right boot (shades of blue) and left (shades of red) is proportional to the number of goals scored with his left foot, right foot and head.
