FIFA: the Fútbol Más Foundation wins the fourth edition of the Diversity Award on 22/09/2019

The Fútbol Más Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has been awarded the fourth FIFA Diversity Award, in Milan (ITA) on 22/09/2019. This organisation "puts inclusion at the forefront of their work to promote youth and community empowerment through football," said the International Federation.

Founded in Chile in 2008, the Fútbol Más Foundation, located in various parts of the world, aims to develop "the life skills of children and young people living in contexts of social vulnerability and connecting them with their communities, thereby fostering solidarity and cohesion without discrimination," said FIFA.

"After more than a decade working for this cause, there is nothing more gratifying than being recognised for it. But, more than anything, today is a powerful reminder of how football can impact lives. Of how - in the face of different problems, in different parts of the world - the game is a strong tool to promote positive change," said Sergio Guerrero, co-founder and commercial director of Fútbol Más.
