DAZN: Stewart Walker (formerly beIN) appointed vice-president of global rights partnerships

Stewart Walker has stepped down as director of sales and distribution for the Qatari pay-TV Group beIN Media Group, to join the DAZN Group (OTT platform) as executive vice-president of global rights partnerships during the month of September 2019.

Stewart Walker will report to Jacopo Tonoli, the chief commercial officer of DAZN, and will notably be in charge of the media rights partnerships with FIBA, WTA, Matchroom Boxing Promoter, the EHF and FC Diez Media (joint venture between IMG and DAZN for the distribution of the international rights of the CONMEBOL club competitions).

At beIN Media Group, Stewart Walker worked on the international rights distribution of the Ligue 1 Conforama, Turkish Süper Lig, Davis Cup and Fed Cup.
