Olympique de Marseille: launch of FC La Castellane, amateur club located in Marseille

The OM Foundation officially launched the amateur club FC La Castellane, in collaboration with the social center of La Castellane, an area located in the 15^th arrondissement of Marseille (FRA), announces the Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 25/09/2019.

Eight teams, from U6 to U11, will make up this new club, and 64 players have taken up their license in this new club and will be trained by young coaches (born between 2000 and 2001). The OM Fondation will provide support throughout the year to FC La Castellane, in particular by participating in school monitoring for young players, training of educators and providing the opportunity for the teams to train at OM Campus or inviting them to the Orange Vélodrome," said Olympique de Marseille.

Jacques-Henri Eyraud, president of Olympique de Marseille and the catalyst for this project, participated in the launch day of FC Castellane, during which the young licensees participated in fun activities and received their equipment offered by Puma, the equipment supplier of the Marseille club.
