The draw for the quarter-finals of the 2013-14 Champions League will take place on 21/03/2014 in Nyon (Switzerland) at the headquarters of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) at 12:00 CET. The eight teams still in competition - three Spanish (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid), two German (Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund), two English (Chelsea FC and Manchester United) and one French (Paris Saint Germain) all finished first of their qualifying groups, a first since the introduction of the current format of the Champions League (2003-04).

The eight quarter-finalists have monopolised 60% of the places available at this stage of the competition in the last five years (since 2009-10). FC Barcelona (Liga) will play their fifth consecutive quarter-finals. Over the past ten years (2004-05 season), these eight clubs have trusted 46.25% of the places in the quarter-finals. Their dominance has been increasing since the 2009-10 season.
