Twitter: C. Ronaldo crosses the threshold of 25 million subscribers, more than any other sportsman

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) surpassed 25 million followers on his Twitter account (@Cristiano) with 25,033,744 subscribers on 20/03/2014.

The Portuguese athlete has the largest number of followers on this social network, well ahead of Brazilian Kaka (AC Milan, 18.3 million) and basketball player, LeBron James (USA, Miami Heat, 12.1 million).

Cristiano Ronaldo is the sportsman who has experienced the largest growth of subscribers in 2013 with more than 8 million new followers, according to figures provided by Twitter.
