Brazil 2014: stadium inspection postponed due to meeting regarding operational preparations in Rio

The inspection of six Brazilian stadiums held from 20 to 26/032014 was postponed until the end of April because of "several meetings regarding the 2014 World Cup" that Jérôme Valcke, Secretary General of the FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), must attend in Rio de Janeiro from 24/03 to 27/03/2014, said the international federation on 20/03/2014.

These meetings will be "last occasion for the organisers to take stock of the operational preparations before the respective FIFA World Cup installations begin to be implemented in all twelve host cities," added FIFA on 20/03/2014.

The LOC (Local Organising Committee) will meet at the Maracana Stadium in Rio on 27/03/2014.
