FFF: €16.5m for the Fonds d'Aide au Football Amateur (FAFA) in 2019-20

The French Fonds d'Aide au Football Amateur (Amateur Football Assistance Fund), or FAFA, has a budget of €16.5m in 2019-20. Administered by the Ligue de Football Amateur (LFA, or French Amateur Football League), FAFA is a device that can finance jobs, equipment, transport and training for amateur football (leagues, districts, clubs...), indicated the FFF on 02/10/2019.

"FAFA's 2019-20 priorities include women's football equipment projects as part of the legacy of the 2019 Women's World Cup in France, and support for the creation of structuring jobs in women's football. Amateur clubs and the development of infrastructure related to recreational football (construction of Foot5 fields, outdoor futsal and beach soccer)," explained the French Federation.

"The FAFA system is open to the 22 regional, metropolitan and overseas (French territories) leagues, the 90 districts and the 15,000 amateur clubs of the FFF, and the 35,000 municipalities in France can also benefit from this for equipment investments," added the FFF.
