CAS: Anti-Doping Division offices inaugurated and the foundations for the future headquarters laid

"This week the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) inaugurated the offices of its new Anti-Doping Division (temporarily set up in the Avenue de Rhodanie in Lausanne, Switzerland) and laid the foundation stone (on 03/10/2019) of the building that will house the future headquarters of the CAS on the site of Beaulieu in Lausanne, Switzerland," announced CAS on 04/10/2019.

"For several years now, the CAS has been seeking to move, its current premises at the Château de Béthusy (Lausanne) having become too narrow. The fast-growing international body felt 'a real development potential' by opting for the Beaulieu site," explained Matthieu Reeb, secretary general of the Court of Arbitration for Sport to La Tribune de Genève, a Swiss daily newspaper on 04/10/2019.

The construction budget for the future CAS headquarters amounts to CHF35m (€32m). The offices of the Court of Arbitration are currently located at two separate sites in Lausanne: the main office at Château de Béthusy and the provisional offices at 60, avenue de Rhodanie.
