Ligue 1 Conforama: Xavier Thuilot (ex LOSC Lille) appointed CEO of AS Saint-Étienne

Xavier Thuilot has been appointed CEO of AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 04/10/2019. He succeeds Frédéric Paquet, who left the Saint-Etienne club in August 2019.

The former managing director of LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama) arrives at AS Saint-Etienne at the same time as Claude Puel, appointed both (sporting) general manager and first team manager. The two men worked together at the Lille club from 2002 to 2008. Xavier Thuilot also served as deputy managing director of RC Lens (Domino's Ligue 2) from 2013 to 2015.

"I am very happy to begin an adventure with this historic club with a great stadium, a team, a colour and a logo. This club is magnificent. I thank the two shareholders for their confidence. I’ve known Bernard Caïazzo for a long time since we’ve sat down together a few times. I met Roland Romeyer more recently. We are in agreement on many points," said Xavier Thuilot who, like Claude Puel, is now integrated into the board of AS Saint-Étienne.
