"Creating a new competition is not rocket science even if it sounds complicated. The most important thing is to agree on something where the domestic competitions and international competitions are able to work side by side. Primarily fans are interested in the domestic competitions, and then the national team, then club competitions. And that’s a shame. "I don’t think Andrea Agnelli is right that we are being melodramatic, because we have made a proposal that we are addressing the problem starting with principals. It doesn’t make sense for us to make comments on a format, and we don’t want a closed league.
