Serie A TIM: €6.62m in matchday revenue for Inter against Juve, a new record in Italy

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) recorded €6.62m in matchday revenue in hosting Juventus FC (1-2, Matchday 7 of the 2019-20 Serie A TIM) at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (78,328 capacoty) in Milan (Lombardy, ITA), on Sunday 06/10/2019. This sum is a new record for a single match of the Italian championship.

The "Derby d'Italia" posted the highest attendance for a Serie A TIM match since the start of the 2019-20 season, with 75,923 spectators at the San Siro (97% fill rate). Prior to the match, Inter's average home crowd stood at 59,451 spectators, for an average fill rate of 76% over the first three league games played by the club this season.

To calculate the matchday receipts for the match against Juventus, Inter took into account the tickets sold by unit, the hospitality receipts, as well as the revenues generated by season tickets by applying a proportion to the match.
