"One of the challenges for us as a Premier League club is how do we grow all areas of our business without relying so much on TV?" said Paul Barber chief executive and deputy chairman of Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League), during "Challenger Clubs: Fighting to Make an Impact" at the 2019 edition of the Leaders Week conference cycle held at Twickenham Stadium in London (ENG), on 09/10/2019.

"When the stadium opened, we took a view that traditionally football fans haven't been particularly kind to visiting fans. The football community protects the home fans quite rightly, in your home stadium you want to have the best possible advantage, in the Premier League you still provide 3,000 seats to visiting supporters. You've got a choice you can either make that environment hostile for them and take what comes with that, or you can try and change the dynamic and benefit from the 3,000 visiting fans," continued Barber.
