Olympique Lyonnais: club partners with the Festival Lumière (cinema) from 12 to 20/10/2019 in Lyon

"Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) is a major partner of the 11^th edition of the Festival Lumière, which will take place from Saturday 12 to Sunday 20/10/2019, in Lyon (Rhône)," announced the French club on 10/10/2019.

"Once a year, it is in Lyon, the cinematographer's native city, that the world of cinema celebrates its vitality and memory, through a contemporary visit to works from the past (restored films, retrospectives, guests, tributes, etc.). Thanks to all participating cinemas, the Festival shines throughout the Lyon area and reaches a wide audience. In 2018, 185,000 festival-goers attended 424 sessions in 60 venues in Lyon," said the club about the Festival Lumière, whose 2019 edition is dedicated to American director Francis Ford Coppola.

The Festival Lumière is organised by the Institut Lumière, whose activity is dedicated to the dissemination and conservation of film heritage, and whose CEO, Thierry Frémaux, is als co-president of OL Fondation (along with former player Camille Abily).
