Europa League: Olympique Lyonnais to oppose Juventus (ITA) in quarterfinals on 03 and 10/04/2014

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1, FRA) will play Juventus (Serie A, Italy) in the quarterfinals of the Europa League after the draw at the headquarters of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) in Nyon (SUI) on 21/03/2014.

Lyon, who eliminated Vikoria Plzen (CZE) in the second round (5-3 on aggregate of two matches), will play the first leg at the Stade Gerland on Thursday the 03/04/2014 (21:05), and the second leg at Juventus Stadium on Thursday the 10/04/2014 (21:05).

This is the first time in the history of the European Cup that Olympique Lyonnais and Juventus meet.

The other three quarterfinals will see AZ Alkmaar (NED) oppose Benfica (POR), FC Basel (SUI) oppose Valencia (ESP) and FC Porto (POR) oppose FC Sevilla (ESP).

The draw for the semi-finals will be held on 11/04/2014 at 13:00 CET. The final of the competition will be played at Juventus Stadium in Turin (ITA) on 14/05/2014.
