The Lega Serie A should make a decision on the offer made by the Chinese-Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro to create a channel for the League for the Serie A TIM audiovisual rights, over the 2021-2024 period, at its Assembly on Monday 21/10/2019.

"The Lega Serie A assembly, unanimously intends to retain its right to address market operators for the transfer of audiovisual rights for the three-year period 2021-2024, and is positively considering the possibility of creating a League TV channel (in accordance with Article 13 of the Melandri Law) and has decided to give a mandate to the president (Gaetano Miccichè) and CEO (Luigi De Siervo) to negotiate and define a contractual agreement with Mediapro by 30/09/2019 at the latest, on the basis of the economic offer in the Mediapro proposal received on 26/07/2019," announced the Italian league on 29/07/2019.
