Tokyo 2020: Discovery Communications-Twitter partnership for the Summer Olympics in Japan

Discovery Communications, the American audiovisual group, has established a media and advertising partnership with Twitter for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games (Japan) on 15/10/2019. "The agreement concerns 16 European markets (see list below)."

"The partnership will bring Twitter users world-class content, including the very best moments of Eurosport’s countdown Road to Tokyo coverage, extensive event highlight clips featuring medal-winning moments and the most exciting and locally-relevant moments during the Olympic Games, as well as live coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies," said Discovery, the parent company of the pay-TV group Eurosport.

"Discovery and Eurosport will also offer the International Olympic Committee TOP partners dedicated content marketing solutions to further promote their global brands alongside the Olympic Games in Europe.
