Premier League: 63,207 participants in the public consultation on the new Everton stadium

63,207 people responded to the public consultation organized by Everton FC (Premier League) as part of its future stadium project (capacity of 52,000 seats, with the possibility of reaching 62,000 places in the future), which will be located in the Bramley-Moore Dock area in Liverpool (ENG), announced the club on 10/10/2019.

The public consultation set up by Everton aimed in particular at allowing the inhabitants of Liverpool to give their opinion on the plans of the new club grounds, presented in July 2019. To promote this consultation, the English club organized a roadshow in nine different places to go directly to meet the inhabitants, attracting more than 15,000 people in total.

"The response, double that of the first stage public consultation, makes 'The People’s Project' the largest commercial public consultation in the city of Liverpool’s history and one of the largest ever held in the UK," said Everton. The results of the consultation will be announced in November 2019.
