Sportel: Spring Media and Red Bee launch "Wnited", first OTT platform dedicated to women's football

The Swedish media rights agency Spring Media has joined forces with UK-based Red Bee Media, which specializes in broadcaster technology solutions, to launch the first OTT platform dedicated to women's football, "Wnited", in the first quarter of 2020, the two companies announced at Sportel Monaco, international sport business and media convention, at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco, on 21/10/2019.

Wnited will offer a free and paid offer, and will broadcast more than 300 live matches, as well as content on demand, beginning in 2020.

No media rights agreement has been announced, but Wnited will broadcast "major league content in Europe, Asia and America as well as matches between national selections for international broadcast," said the two companies.
