Sportel Monaco 2019: "Everyone is talking about data, and data is glocal" (Javier Tebas, LaLiga)

"Everyone is talking about data. We have been working with AI (Artificial Intelligence) to solve many many problems. We have partners and sponsors now all over the world from the USA all the way to China. There's been a quantum leap," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, at the 2019 edition of Sportel Monaco, which is celebrating its 30^th anniversary, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from 21 to 23/10/2019, on 22/10/2019.

"In six years we have increased our number of employees to 547. We often have meetings with our operators every week. We insist on the quality of what we broadcast. Three years ago we had product data and strategy in line. This had been guiding LaLiga. Data is glocal. We need a strategy that is completely different throughout the world. Thanks to AI we are already controlling these differences through business intelligence and analytics," added Javier Tebas.
