Nike: John Donahoe to replace Mark Parker as president and CEO on 13/01/2020

John Donahoe will replace Mark Parker as president and CEO of Nike, announced the American equipment manufacturer on 22/10/2019. Donahoe's appointment will be effective on 13/01/2020. "Mark Parker, CEO since 2006 and Chairman, president and CEO since 2016, will become executive chairman and continue to lead the board of directors," added the brand.

John Donahoe, current president and CEO of ServiceNow (since 2017), will continue to serve on the Nike board of directors, of which he has been a member since 2014. Previously, Donahoe worked at the strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, initially as CEO (1992-1999), then as president and CEO (1999-2005), before joining eBay (e-commerce) in 2005 as director of e-commerce and then becoming president and CEO of the group (2008-2015) .
