France: LFP partners with StadiumGO, a carpooling platform dedicated to sports events

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has partnered with StadiumGO, the first carpooling platform dedicated entirely to sporting events, announced the LFP on 23/10/2019.

"As part of the collaboration, the LFP will allow StadiumGO users to follow their home club throughout France for Ligue 1 Conforama, Domino's Ligue 2 and Coupe de la Ligue BKT matches. StadiumGO offers each fan the opportunity to share a journey with other fans to their favourite club's matches, whether they are at home or away, through a simple and secure application," said the LFP.

"To propose a route, the driver chooses the match from among the Ligue 1 Conforama, Domino's Ligue 2 or Coupe de la Ligue BKT matches proposed in the application, then enters the details of the trip (time, date, place of departure, price...) and publishes his advert. All he has to do now is wait for one or more fans to reserve a place. As a passenger, once the match has been chosen, the list of available vacancies is displayed and fans only have to book their trip," explained the French League.
