LaLiga Santander: an average of €8.9m for main shirt sponsorship in 2019-20 (-13.5%)

All 20 LaLiga Santander clubs have a main shirt sponsor in 2019-20, as of 29/10/2019, versus 18 in 2018-19. The average shirt sponsorship contract, out of the 19 contracts compiled by News Tank Football, amounts to €8.9m (the value of the contract between Cuatro Rayas and Real Valladolid CF has not been communicated). This figure is down 13.5% compared to €10.9m in 2018-19 - the 2018-19 average was based on 15 contracts from the 18 clubs with a main shirt sponsor.

Excluding the extreme values (Real Madrid CF and Getafe CF), the average revenue from main shirt sponsors falls by 31% to €6.1m. This average falls to €2.1m without Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, and Club Atlético de Madrid. These three clubs represent nearly 80% of the combined total of €169.15m accumulated by the Spanish clubs from main shirt sponsorship.
