Premier League: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (November 2019)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2019-20 Premier League season have over 473 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/10/2019. This total makes the Premier League the second most popular Top 5 European league on all the three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, with an average of 23.9 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with nearly 126 million fans, followed by two London clubs: Chelsea FC, with nearly 81 million fans and Arsenal FC, with 69 million.

Liverpool FC was the most successful Premier League during October 2019 with an additional 1.24 million fans, including more than 750,000 on Instagram alone. In percentage terms, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC was the club that experienced the best growth on Facebook (+5.2%), while Leicester City FC posted the best growth on Twitter (+3%) and Sheffield United FC the best growth on Instagram (+11.4%).
