MLS: second title for Seattle Sounders FC, winners over Toronto FC in the 2019 MLS Cup final

Seattle Sounders FC became MLS champions for the second time in their history, defeating Toronto FC (3-1) at CenturyLink Field in Seattle (Washington state, USA) in front of 69,274 fans on 10/11/2019.

The Sounders finished 2^nd in the Western Conference at the end of the regular season, behind Los Angeles FC, while FC Toronto finished 4^th in the Eastern Conference behind New York City FC, Atlanta United FC and Philadelphia Union.

It was the third final contested between these two franchises in the past four editions. The first was won by Seattle in 2016 (0-0, 5-4 on penalties), before the Canadians' revenge the following year (2-0).

Seattle Sounders FC - Toronto FC drew an average of 1.27 million viewers in the United States via ABC (free-TV, English language), Univision and TUDN (both pay-TV, Spanish language), according to Nielsen's figures.
