Eintracht Frankfurt: a digital space dedicated to the Internet of Things at the Commerzbank Arena

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) has announced the creation of the "Arena of IoT", a space dedicated to digital and the Internet of Things within the Commerzbank Arena (51,500 capacity), on 05/11/2019.

"After Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG and the City of Frankfurt am Main (Hesse, Germany) reached an agreement last week on the future use of the Commerzbank Arena until 30/06/2035 (see below), Eintracht Frankfurt is founding a digital centre under the name 'Arena of IoT', in which digital industrial models from the areas of smart building, facility management, energy management, logistics and mobility are to be developed together with partners from industry and research for use in the market," said Eintracht, who claim to be the first Bundesliga club to develop the Internet of Things in their own stadium.
