Oren Hasson, 48, was elected president of the Israel Football Association (IFA) by a vote of 23 to 5 at the Association's board meeting on 31/10/2019. Hasson had previously served as president and CEO of the IPFL, Israeli Pro Football Leagues (see file below).

"I believe in football as an educational tool and national resource and I will join forces with all the members of the board to make Israeli football better," said the new president who succeeds Moshe Zuares.

"Hasson began his career in football in 2014, when he took up his first role in the IPFL. He had previously been the chairman of a major car import company in Israel (Subaru, JPN)," said UEFA on 11/11/2019.
