Valencia CF: a turnover of €184.7m (+75%) and net profit of €1.5m in 2018-19

Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover of €184.7m (excluding capital gains from player transfers) in the financial year 2018-19 (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), a 75% increase compared to 2017-18 (€105.5m), according to the accounts published by the club on 13/11/2019.

This is a historic record for the Valencia club, whose revenues totalled €219.2m in 2018-19 including gains from player transfers. The growth in revenue is mainly driven by the club's run in the Champions League (group stage) and then in the Europa League (to the semi-finals), which has led to a sharp increase in revenue from "competitions" (ticketing excluding subscriptions, all competitions combined, and amounts distributed by UEFA, among others), from €7.3m to €66.2m.

Valencia CF posted a net profit of €1.5m in 2018-19, the first profit generated by the club in six years, during which time the cumulative net loss reached a total of -€98.5m.
