"When people saw the momentum that was generated from the opening of the FIFA Women's World Cup in France last summer, they realized that supporting the women's game is positive for football. So don't be shy when you speak about women's football. Tell your president about the benefits of developing the women's game!" said Fatma Samoura (SEN), FIFA secretary general and general delegate of the Confederation of African Football, at CAF's first Women's Football Taskforce Workshop, held in Cairo (EGY) on 13/11/2019.

"Identifying the key areas to develop and the measures to be taken to ensure strong and dynamic growth in women's football in Africa" was the aim of this two-day workshop inaugurated by Ahmad Ahmad (MAD), president of CAF.
