Financial Fair Play: Man City's appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport deemed "inadmissible"

"The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has issued its decision in the arbitration procedure between Manchester City FC (Premier League) and UEFA in relation to the appeal filed at CAS by Manchester City against the decisions issued by the Investigation Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (UEFA CFCB) dated 15/05/2019," announced the CAS on 15/11/2019.

After opening a formal investigation into Manchester City FC on 07/03/2019 "for potential breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations", the CFCB Investigation Chamber decided to refer the English club to the Adjudicatory Chamber (AC) on 15/05/2019 with the aim of having it impose a sanction.
