FC Bayern Munich: Herbert Hainer officially succeeds Uli Hoeness as club president

"Herbert Hainer is the new president of FC Bayern München (Bundesliga). An overwhelming majority of the members present at the annual general meeting (on 15/11/2019) voted in favour of the 65-year-old to succeed Uli Hoeneß, the president from 2009 to 2014 and again since 2016," the Bavarian club announced after the assembly on 15/11/2019.

"Uli Hoeness (67 years old) will not stand for re-election as club president at the next annual general meeting on 15/11/2019," announced FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) on 29/08/2019, adding that Uli Hoeness will also resign as chairman of the supervisory board of FC Bayern München AG, but will remain a member until November 2023, at the first meeting of the supervisory board following the organisation's general meeting on 15/11/2019.
