RC Celta de Vigo: a record turnover of €105.2m (+34.8%) and net profit of €21.1m in 2018-19

Real Club Celta de Vigo (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover of €105.2m for the financial year 2018-19 (from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2019), an increase of 34.8% compared to 2017-18 (€78.1m), according to the accounts published by the club on 15/11/2019.

As a result, Celta de Vigo exceeded the €100m turnover mark for the first time. The growth in the club's turnover in 2018-19 is mainly due to the increase in revenue from player transfers (€28.8m, compared to €12.3m in 2017-18). The club also posted a net profit of €21.1m, the second best result in its history.

The Vigo (ESP) club has adopted a provisional budget of €87.9m (-16.2%) for the 2019-20 season and expects to achieve a net profit, which is also down, of €3.3m.
